OUR STORY
High and Tight Barbershop Colorado Springs LLC was established in July 2021. It is locally operated by the Lopez family. The barbershop’s name was originally created in 2012 by two Lopez Barber Brothers when High and Tight Barbershop Leadville, CO was opened. The barbershop name is a representation of the combination of the Lopez brother’s hometown of Leadville, CO, the highest incorporated city in North America at 10,152ft, and the classic high and tight military haircut.
High and Tight Barbershop Colorado Springs LLC is at a great location next to Frankie’s Bar and Grill off the intersection of Galley Road and North Powers Blvd where the shop is minutes away from Schriever, Peterson, and Fort Carson Military Bases. Our clean, inviting, urban industrial interior decor and atmosphere allow for relaxation during your time in High and Tight Barbershop. Here licensed barbers welcome both male and female clients. We offer superb classic and trendsetting cuts, trims, shaves, and products. We are focused on overall quality and intend to provide top-notch grooming and customer service for each client.

First time getting my haircut here. I've been bouncing around trying to find a new barbershop. I'm sure this is my new shop. I got in and out pretty quickly, and it's the best hair cut I've had in a couple of years.

Just got back from my first hair cut with Elijah at High & Tight. He was very professional and personable - - a really chill dude. I could tell he really cared about giving me the best fade possible, he's definitely skilled with the blades. The barbershop itself has very modern furniture and equipment - - you can tell they put a lot of work into the place - - it was super clean too. I also really liked the authentic barbershop vibe they had there; good stories, a couple jokes that had everyone laughing, and good music. It was a great time. Definitely going back!

Went here when I was in town a few weeks ago. Best dam haircut and trim I've had in decades! And reasonable too! I can't say enough good about this place! I don't give praise lightly but these guys deserve it.
